Need help becoming a vegetarian?

I really would like to Im disgusted at the thought that Im eating a dead animal that was probably treated very poorly. Im not sure how I would do it though...my family eats very unhealthily already most of their meals containing meat and Im afraid that if I didnt eat meat all Id eat was junk food. Plus Im not sure what Id eat when we go to a relatives at least once a week to have dinner and like I said theres almost always meat involved and nothing vegetarian. We always grab quick meals and I dont have the time to cook every night...are there any fast easy vegetarian meals? Any tips on doing this and vegetarian foods to buy? Also Im worried because I absolutely hate almost all vegetables. :x Which Ill probably have to get over and shove them down anyway to become one. Its so bad that even something like raw carrots make me gag.

If you truly want to become a vegetarian then you should have no problems commiting. Sorry but most vegetarian meal consist of vegetables. I myself dislike raw vegetable. I cook my veggies in boiling water so it gets soggy and mix it with food. I mix it in with my potatoes with beans with rice or noodles. Seasoning is the best thing you can do to make a bland meal taste good. Try basil tumeric curry powder all purpose seasoning chives garlic or butter. If you want to become a vegetarian different from vegans then you can eat egg bread butter peanut butter jam….there are lots of things you can eat that is not mostly vegetables.

You need to see a nutritionist FIRST Talk to your parents if you still live t home about your decision and that you want to remain healthy too. There are a lot of important nutrients most vegetarians miss out on because they dont eat meat and dont eat healthy foods. This poses a lot of healthrisks. The first thing my parents did when I decided to become vegetarian I was 10 was take me to a nutritionist who recommended a diet plan and muti viamins to make sure ll my nutritionall needs were met. Your health comes first talk to someone who knows about nutrition. no amount of YA or internet research can help figure out a plan for your body. And if you feel healthy you much less likely to go back to eating meat most vegetarians who go back to meat end up doing so because they dont feel good. Good luck and thanks for your positive choice

Firstly ease in to it. Give up red meat starting x/xx/xxxx. For x amount of time. Then give up pork I think pork is now red meat… Then chicken. Then fish. Bonus points: Then eggs then milk. Ease into as quickly or slowly as you wish.
